STARLUX Brief History
The skies have welcomed a new luxury airline from Taiwan — STARLUX Airlines.
STARLUX was founded in 2018 by an aviation tycoon, Chang Kuo-wei, but the airline’s momentous occasion that marks the beginning of this rising star’s journey happened in 2020. It was the inaugural flights from Taipei to Macau, Da Nang and Penang.
Despite its young age, the airline has already established a reputation for offering its passengers exceptional service, luxurious amenities and cutting-edge technology. This has made STARLUX win several awards from Airline Ratings — a prestigious industry publication — such as

The cabin design is a masterpiece by BMW Designworks with a “Cozy Like Home” concept as the foundation. The colour palette of the cabin is centered around a Pure Tea theme with earthy tones, creating a calming and serene environment like sipping a cup of fine tea with an endless aftertaste. This results in a space that feels luxurious and welcoming.

Airbus A330neo
The interior design is more than just aesthetically pleasing; it is designed to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere to evoke a feeling you get when you enter your beloved friend’s home. Airbus A350-900
The A350 cabin interior’s design principles of Comfort, Privacy, Security, Ownership and Belonging have been incorporated to create an environment that feels like your personal sanctuary, regardless of the class you are travelling in. To achieve this, STARLUX has adopted a theme of Glisten, which builds on the Pure Tea and Sanctuary themes previously used in the A321 and A330 models.
The Glisten theme introduces deeper, richer and more luxurious finishes that elevate the passenger experience to new heights. This theme is particularly evident in the introduction of First Class, which features even more luxurious finishes and amenities.

Destinations
STARLUX Airlines has built an impressive network of destinations in just a few short years. Currently, STARLUX offers flights to several major cities across Asia such as Tokyo, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. Flights to Los Angeles are also available while other destinations in other regions will be expanded in the near future.
